Description

Welcome to the South West Model Engineering, Model Making and Hobbies Exhibition - the UK's most interactive model making show.  Our third year will be bursting at the seams with over 200 traders and clubs selling, demonstrating and showing millions of models.

What 2010 has in store…

Outdoor Flying Display, Model Railway Layouts, Engineering displays and supplies, Model Boat displays and supplies, workshops and demonstrations, Wargaming competitions, Model and Remote Control Cars and Planes, Model Helicopters, Military Vehicles and much, much more.

As well as these great exhibition features, we have a huge variety of model engineering and modelling enthusiast clubs displaying the very best of modern and antique models. There will also be plenty of opportunity to buy all your engineering and modelling essentials from 150 plus traders guaranteed to provide you with any material you need. In addition to this we have the widest range of models actively being shown, flown, ridden and driven in and outside of the fabulous Shepton Mallet showground.

The Royal Bath & West of England Society

The Society was founded in 1777 in Bath by a group of philanthropists led by Edmund Rack. We are a registered charity organisation (Registered Charity Number 1039397).

The Society was formed with the aims of encouraging agriculture, arts, manufacture and commerce.
Our charitable activities provide:

  • Agriculture, veterinary, educational and art scholarships.

  • Technical events and Seminars

  • Practical farming advice and conferences

  • Countryside Education

  • Diversification advice for farmers

  • Education for children

  • A market place for countryside products

  • Plus all the events run by the Society and the Bath & West Trading Company
