You all know that I prefer to see videos rather than just pictures of racing events. This page had all the (heavily sponsored) videos from the recent 1/5th Scale European Touring Car Championship 2008. The event was held at the undulating and very challenging Luxembourg track. Luckily for you, most of the videos have a music track which means you do not hear too much of the lawn-mower noise! Click on the picture to go download the vidoes, read the notes on the page and then scroll down to download them."

Gary O's 4 Engine problem child |

After attending this year's Goodwood Festival of Speed, I am again excited to see fast supercars and the same applies to RC. This exciting looking 4-engined beast is by Gary O and this is what he has to say:-
I have been working on a four engine car for about 9 months now, initially bent on blowing Ziggy's record out of the water and bring it back to the USA. Unfortunately, he's such a nice guy that I'll feel bad when I do eventually set a new one, but only for a minute or two.
The car is based on a couple Associated NTC3's. Some early photos show the NTC3 parts that are pretty much hidden in the finished car... Its powered by four .21 Picco P9 engines which have proven to be very problematic, living up to its name...."

Hence probably why you are surfing 3hobby.net instead of rendering some nice RC videos or finding some good RC news to post here (yeah right!). OK, ever wondered why Adrien Bertin and Keisuke Fukuda are the first two people to be IFMAR 200mm World Champions? Do you know what they both have in common? Well, hey, hey, I have now worked it out! They have eye problems! Yes! They do! One needs yellow tinted glasses to race and the other one squints ... kinda. And you know what? They just see a lot more than you and me on a race track hence they are excellent racers.
